Blade & Soul NEO is the modern remaster of the original Blade & Soul and is coming with new, updated features. This new remastered version of the game offers enhanced graphics, improved animations, and new gameplay features that you will definitely love!
A ”classic” revival that will bring nostalgia back and let’s face it, who doesn’t want to relive these first moments that made us fall in love with a game? But what should we expect of this remastered version of Blade & Soul? Here is everything we know.

Nowadays most MMORPGs follow the same way of thinking. They release a remaster that will bring the old glory of their first game. Games like WoW, Aion, and Lineage are all doing big numbers with their return to classic mode.
It was expected for Blade & Soul to do the same, especially when the game was struggling from the very beginning with many things. Blade & Soul NEO is an enhanced return to 2012 and brings a wave of nostalgia.
Blade & Soul NEO is a remaster of the original Blade & Soul and brings a lot to the table. A much-needed remaster of the game that introduced us to Asian mythology and Wuxia-style kung fu features.
Character Customization
Speaking of looking good, in Blade & Soul NEO every bodily feature can be adjusted with freedom.
This time Blade & Soul’s character customization system is quite extensive. It includes body sliders for different areas and also options for height, hairstyle, facial structure, facial markings, makeup, and eye color.
It is very similar to AION’s character creation but… better. So expect to spend hours on the character creation screen if you want your character to look unique and on point.
Note
Not only the character models have been upgraded but skins and cosmetics have also been visually enhanced so we can expect better-looking clothes.
Battle Pass
Blade & Soul NEO is a free-to-play MMORPG but there is a battle pass coming to the game.
What players can expect, according to NCSoft, is a system that allows most of the in-game consumables and cosmetics to be looted in-game or acquired using Valour Stones.

The class selection still features Jin, Gon, Lyn, and Yun races, and all their respective classes:

It is not known if gender locks are still in play, but I hope this time it won’t be the case.
Graphics
Blade &Soul was already impressive when it launched back in 2012 and by the looks of it, we expect the same with the remaster.
Some environments have had fundamental redesigns to make better use of the visual technology available now and it’s stunning!!!
NCSoft has revealed that it has done a huge overhaul on the graphics, added textures, and changed the lighting and animations, while also shaping its atmosphere better.
Other Features
- Windwalk will become available from the beginning of the game and will be unlimited without the need for any stamina. Yay!!!
- Additionally, major changes have been made to the PvP, with different activities and 6v6 battlegrounds.
- NC announced a new free-for-all all PvP arena, titled Scavenger’s Lair. Going toe to toe with other players, the winner will be the last player standing and will be able to loot the treasure chest.
- NCSoft will also include a new weapon Soul Core systems. Soul Cores show as an additional weapon slot that can be unlocked and the Soul Cores are a boss ability. This will be shown as an additional weapon skill on the hot bar.
Pre-register And Pre-order
Starting February 11, players can pre-download the game in PURPLE launcher so they can jump right into the game when it releases. Following that, on February 18, character creation will open so you can take your time to reserve the name of your character and also customize, style, and personalize it before the game launches!
Players can immediately pre-register to receive a bonus cosmetic package and choose to purchase an exclusive pre-order package, available now -including a cosmetically enhanced character outfit, in-game currency, and more!
