Tiny Glade

The weather is getting colder. You just came home from work and want to spend some time on your PC.  You are looking for a game to play that will help you relax, something creative and cozy that will keep you entertained whilst you get your favorite hot tea, but you don’t know which one… Well, worry not! Because I have the best game for you, Tiny Glade!

What is Tiny Glade

Release:23 September 2024
Developer:Pounce Light
Publishers:Pounce Light
Platform:Windows
Genre:City-builder, cosy, sandbox, indie
Mode:Single-player

Tiny Glade is a cozy and relaxing game that allows you to unwind while you create a small cottage, a castle, or even a whole medieval village—the possibilities are endless.

Personally, I think that this game works like therapy, and I find myself super chill while I spend some time playing it.

The game offers a great building tool that looks simple but does wonders. The music and the sound effects add a lot to the whole experience, so get ready to relax A LOT!

Building

Tiny Glade is all about creating and building, and trust me on that—the building tools are very easy to use. The UI keeps a minimal style, and I truly loved that. Another thing I adored was that I didn’t have to decide between a bunch of different types of windows, doors, etc. There are limited options for external decoration, and that, for me, is paradise since it helped me relax way more than other similar games that offer more. More is not always better.

What to Expect

You get a piece of terrain, and you can pick a seasonal theme or the daily theme, which, of course, is available for 24 hours, and you get a different one the next day.

You can use the terrain tool to create hills or ground holes and give your canvas some depth. Even if you want to build a tiny little house and nothing else, you can still have an amazing outcome using this tool.

Tiny Glade also offers amazing music and sound effects, you will hear the birds chirping and the sound of rocks while building. Nature sounds are all over the place, and there’s nothing better than that, right?

Everything else is up to your imagination. Create the medieval village of your dreams, and don’t forget to use the photo mode tool to get a photo of your masterpiece!

The Lake and The Ducks

Nothing is complete if you don’t add this small lake. Water features add that character and extra cozy atmosphere to the game, and you know what? It also adds ducks! Once you create your lake, you will see little cute ducks coming to swim in your lake. And there’s more! You can also pet them!! The same happens with the sheep that you will see chilling around.
