How to get the Chief Terror Bird Egg in Throne and Liberty

Some of the quests in Throne and Liberty can be extremely frustrating pretty quickly, especially if you don’t focus explicitly on the game. One of those quests requires players to get the Chief Terror Bird Egg, which is above the ground and many players have been stuck, wondering how they’ll get up to the bird’s nest and get the egg.

To unlock and find the quest, which is called “One Flew Over the Terror Bird’s Nest“, you’ll first have to activate the Nesting Grounds Waypoint. Once done, fast-travel to the Starlight Observatory Tower Waypoint and speak with Trevor (he’s located at the highest point of the Observatory).

Thankfully, there are two easy ways to get it, one official and one relying on the game’s buggy system, which I discovered by accident.

The first way to get the Chief Terror Bird Egg

This is the fastest and easiest way of completing the quest, but if you have already left the place, you can always use the second way.

1. Once you take the quest from Trevor, a wandering chef.
2. Jump and start flying to the bird’s nest by continuously clicking the W button, which is the only way to fly that far.
3. Take the bird’s egg by clicking the F button.

The second (unofficial) way of getting the Chief Terror Bird Egg

This is the best way if you already jumped and headed over to the bird’s nest by walking.

1. Once you take the quest from Trevor, a wandering chef.
2. Go to the bird’s egg nest by walking.
3. Once there, morph into anything.
4. Jump to the pieces of wood that holding the egg’s nest.
5. Keep jumping through the nest until your character’s there.
6. Take the bird’s egg by clicking the F button.

After collecting the egg, return to Trevor at the Starlight Observatory Tower to complete the quest. You can also watch the video for more information.
