Days Gone gets stuck on a never-ending loading screen or crashes – RESOLVED

In Days Gone (both the original and remastered versions), there’s a mission called “Enter the CCC Campus”. This is where you and Sarah must enter the campus, kill as many freaks and human enemies you can find, and collect what you need.

The problem:

– The game automatically crashes/closes.
– The game is unable to load the next screen.

Solution:

Just before the game crashes or gets stuck, simply click the ESC button, save the game, quit to the Main Menu, and then load your latest save.

This will fix the game’s corrupted saved files and it will continue its main storyline.
