Dying Ligh 2 is by far one of my favorite games, but getting to a point where you play like a true hero is another story. The game it’s fairly big, and there are many main and side quests that you’ll have to complete in order to unlock everything and progress through the story, and if you’re human like us, you’ll probably already have tons of questions, and we’re here to answer them!
When I started playing Dying Light 2, I found myself many times alt-tabbing the game and looking for solutions and answers online. From YouTube to Google to Reddit, I’ve searched a lot. So I thought it would save many players a lot of time by simply providing all of those questions in one article, so here we are.

It’s like starting over but with all your toys and none of your dignity. Basically, you start over the story from the very beginning, but without losing the weapons, armor, skill upgrades, and so on. How many Active Players does Dying Light 2 have in 2024?
Thousands are still parkouring their way through zombie-infested rooftops. Although there isn’t a specific number provided by Techland, in all of our tests we were able to quickly find other players and join their worlds.

Unlock Metro Stations (because apparently even zombies respect public transport routes). The more Metro Stations you unlock, the more fast-travel options you’ll have, and you can fast-travel to any of them by opening your map, hovering over the Metro Station of your choice with your cursor, and clicking on F. Unfortunately, each Station is full of infected or human enemies, so it may take a little time until you’ve unlocked them all.

If you haven’t played the first and second installments, we highly recommend doing that first. Dying Light: The Beast will feature the return of Kale Crane, with he was the protagonist in the first Dying Light. Now, while Dying Light 2 is set 22 years after the events of Dying Light, we guess that the two protagonists may meet, so why not play and learn the whole story of both?

Dying Light 1 takes place in 2014, during the outbreak in Harran. Dying Light 2 is set in 2036, in a world where civilization has largely collapsed due to the spread of the virus on a global scale.
