Founded in late 2024 by Nora Papadopoulou and Panos Sakalakis, Norpan.co is a gaming blog and forum brewed with love, passion, and many, many, many – and we can’t stress this enough – cups of coffee.
It’s all about doing what we love; Playing, writing, and building an inclusive community where everyone’s welcome (except maybe the final boss, but we’ll let it slide).
Our Backstory
For most people, games are just entertainment. For us, they’re the glue that brought us together. It all began back in 2010, when Aion was the game of the hour (Infinite Aion, anyone?), and Nora was living in Thessaloniki while Panos was hanging out in Kilkis, 50 km away.
A friend of Panos, Achilleas, met Nora in Aion, and they started talking in-game. Nora started playing with us, joining our groups, and quickly becoming our “online friend”.
Fast forward a few years, and guess what? That friend went from player two to player one in Nora’s life – they got married! And Panos, along with another gamer buddy, leveled up to become the best man at the wedding. So, when we say “gaming builds connections”, we mean it literally!
Eventually, after too many years of the ol’ 9-to-5 grind, we decided to turn our passion into something real. Thus, Norpan.co was born – our very own gaming blog dedicated to what started it all.
Life Before Norpan (A Quick Side Quest)
Before Norpan, Nora was a foreign nail artist who left Greece for Sweden, then moved to the UK for seven years, and finally came back to her roots. Meanwhile, Panos was in Greece all along, writing articles, coding, and podcasting as a freelance content creator and web developer.
Now, both are working full-time on Norpan, producing as much unique, high-quality, and human-written (yes, no AI here) content as possible.
About Norpan
Norpan is a gaming blog that consists of reviews, previews, talks about our favorite remakes, personal opinions, guides and walkthroughs, insights about our favorite games or gaming companies, and even for sharing lists of the best movies and TV shows that are based on popular titles.
We are currently on a mission to create our own gaming community, and we aren’t stopping anytime soon – not until we hit full level. And unlike many gaming servers, our own won’t disconnect you from the site, nor you’ll stay on any waiting list.
By the way, the name “Norpan” is a clever mashup of our names—”Nora” and “Panagiotis” – but it also means “ringed seal” in Finnish. Why Finnish? Why not? We’re gamers; randomness is part of the charm.
