Where to Find the Secret Map
The Secret Map is located in Chris’s bedroom, pinned to the wall near his office.
You can interact with it early in the game, and it becomes one of the tasks in your “Awesome Things to Do” list.
How to Decode and Follow the Map
In order to decode the map, here’s what you’ll need to do:
- Go to Chris’ treehouse and find the Secret Decoder. It’s inside the secret stash.
- Go back to Chris’s room and interact with the Secret Map.
- Tilt the decoder until everything aligns.
- The map will show you that the treasure is buried in the Maze of Doom, outside the house, a.k.a. Junk Pile Maze
- Head outside to the maze and follow the directions shown on the map.
What’s Inside the Treasure Box?
Inside the box, you’ll find:
- Old toys and keepsakes from Chris’s early childhood
- A small reminder of his mom
- More world-building details that link Captain Spirit to Life is Strange 2
