Valentine’s Day is approaching and what’s better than setting up the atmosphere for your Sims? That’s why we love mods! They always come to the rescue and add these extra details that make a HUGE difference to the game.
The Sims 4 offers a great variety of DLC and mods, but I found myself leaning toward the modding side more often. Maybe this is because I like to personalize my game and make it more to my taste. I’ve gathered five of my favorite mods for Valentine’s Day so you can enjoy this special day with your other half.
1 – Valentine’s Day Loading Screens
I don’t know about you but for me, everything depends on the details. Like if I want to theme my game I want to do it completely right, so a mod for the loading screen is a MUST HAVE.
It makes so much difference! This little detail puts you in the right mood, so you can enjoy your Valentine’s gameplay even more.
2 – First Love
Remember your first love? The one you felt when you were probably still a kid. Kids’ first love is precious, and it is the first time they fall in love with someone, so I had to include this mod in my article.
With this Mod you gain access to the following interactions:
- Confess to have a crush
- Exchange numbers
- Hug
- Stargazing
- Ask to be boyfriend/girlfriend
- Ask to be just friends
- Kiss cheek
- Hold hands
Exchanging numbers with your crush will also unlock two new Phone Interactions:
- Call crush
- Text crush
3 – Romantic Massage
A romantic massage is a must every day, especially on Valentine’s Day! Let your Sims give their loved ones a romantic massage to get them in the right mood for a romantic evening.
With this mod, the romantic massage takes around 45-60 minutes and will set both sims in a highly flirtatious mood.
This is probably my favorite one since it gets more intimate and that’s what Valentine’s Day calls for!
NOTE: The option to ask or give a massage is only available if your Sims are at least in a romantic interest relationship and are on the same lot.
4 – Passionate Gifts
Valentine’s Day means sharing love, or… in other words GIFTS! With this mod, you gain access to precious gifts for the love of your life. Here is what you can get:

- Silver Bracelet – $280 Simoleons
- Flower and Chocolates – $100 Simoleons
- Heart Necklace – $950 Simoleons
- Fancy Wrist Watch – $2500 Simoleons
- Love letter Bouquet – $50 Simoleons
NOTE: Your sims have to have their first kiss, at least. And have more than 20% of romance, or the interactions won't show up.
5 – SimDa Dating App
Who said single Sims can’t celebrate Valentine’s Day? With the SimDa dating app, your Sims can have exciting love lives by meeting potential lovers through their phones, tablets, or computers!
Get access to different date options like:
- Serious dates
- Blind dates
- One-night stands
