For as long as I can remember, the king of all bugs, glitches and errors has always been Aion. Now, Throne And Liberty may take the crown, as NCSoft’s and Amazon’s new vast and beautiful MMO RPG world is full of those, and we found a few of them – to say the least.

Throne and Liberty is arguably one of the most anticipated MMO RPGs in 2024, but when it launched, players had a crazy journey trying to fix all the issues that appeared. That’s okay though, because it’s a new game and with so many players, bugs and glitches were expected, as nothing is perfect (I mean, just look at Dying Light 2 and the tremendous improvement the game has seen since its buggy release).

Unfortunately, that was only the beginning of discovering the basic bugs and glitches that the game has, and we thought that it was a great time to start reporting them all – and ultimately, find and provide a solution to each one (if there is one). If you’re experiencing an issue that we haven’t reported here, drop us a comment down below.

Note: We’ve tested the PC version of the game and we haven’t checked it on Xbox or PlayStation, but many of the bugs are the same, with a few differences that we’ll talk more about.

General Errors

1“MS-Gamingoverlay” error that automatically displays the Microsoft Store pop-up. Clicking on the “Browse Microsoft Store” redirects to a blank page.Make sure that the Xbox and Xbox Game Bar apps are installed in Windows.

1Windows PC players may get automatically kicked from the game due to the “Easy Anti-Cheat (47)” error.Stop all background apps, update your Windows, validate the game’s file through Steam, and update the Visual C++ Redistributables.

It seems that the game keeps on crashing because their Anti-Cheat system keeps kicking me from the game, and it takes around 5 minutes to re-join the game. Sometimes I have to re-try multiple times for the game to let me sign in, while other times I have to completely restart both Throne and Liberties and Steam. Go figure.

Game Access

1Some players may be unable to create a new character.Restart the game and re-try, choose another server, or wait a few minutes and try again.

UI

No.IssueSolution
1After using the “Photo Mode”, players may experience sudden lag, which makes the game unplayable.Restart the game and do not use the “Photo Mode”.
2Many players have been stuck in a Black Screen. Some players reported that after almost 5 minutes of waiting, the screen loaded. Otherwise, restarting the game and re-trying will probably save you even more time.
3Sometimes, hitting a Magic Trap will make everything disappear except your main character and the grass. No solution (yet).
4The “Shader Compilation” is sometimes stuck at 0%.Lowering the “Sharer Preloading” from the game’s settings and restarting it seems to be the only solution for now.

Gameplay

No.IssueSolution
1Fishing is mostly broken and players report that they were unable to catch any fish.No solution (yet).

We will constantly update this page with new bugs, errors, glitches, and whatever we find through the game and the report from other players, so if you’re a Throne and Liberty player, make sure you’ve saved it to your bookmarks.
